We are excited to announce that The Nelson Center for Family Therapy is now offering Court-Ordered Family Therapy and Reunification Therapy Services throughout Michigan.


Families involved in court proceedings often face complex emotional and relational challenges. Our goal is to provide a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment where families can work toward healing, improved communication, and healthier relationships.


What Is Court-Ordered Family Therapy?


Court-Ordered Family Therapy is a therapeutic service recommended or mandated by a court to help families address concerns related to communication, conflict, co-parenting, family dynamics, and other issues affecting the well-being of family members. Our clinicians provide a neutral and supportive space where families can work toward meaningful and lasting change.


What Is Reunification Therapy?


Reunification Therapy is designed to help restore and strengthen relationships between parents and children following periods of separation, estrangement, or family conflict. Through a structured and evidence-based process, our therapists help families rebuild trust, improve communication, and develop healthy connections while prioritizing the emotional well-being of the child.
